About the Event

Today’s generation of young people is the largest that the world has ever known – and they represent one of the greatest assets that countries have.

Youth are the custodians of the future, with almost more than half of the global population under 30 years of age.

“The rising generation” cannot fail to be at the centre of talks about sustainable development. Sustainable development requires the meaningful involvement and active participation of all major groups including children and youth.

Under the theme: ‘Youth for Impact’

In collaboration with Music for Good, Impact 17+1 Club is pleased to host a special edition inviting cross-generational impactors from across the world to this event.

We are honored that for this event, we will welcome Paul Ji, Founder, Music for Good as our keynote speaker. Paul Ji is a young pianist and Steinway artist who is also the winner of 2019 French national TV competition ‘Prodiges’.

Music is one of the most universal methods of expression in human life and is present in the everyday lives of people of all ages and from all cultures around the world. As the contribution of children and youth is vital to the achievement of sustainable development, we hope the live performance will unite youth for impact and we call upon cross-generational impactors to join us.

We are also thrilled to welcome 11 year old girl Farrah Ceric, Nike Kids Ambassador and recipient of Jack Petchey Community Award as our special guest speaker. Farrah is an advocate for healthy body and healthy mind. She was nominated for “2020 BBC Sports Personality of the year Award”.

We are very honoured to have Emily Carpenter joining us as a special guest speaker. Emily is a humanitarian worker served in Lebanon refuge camp. Instead of finding a well paid job after graduating from the university, she decided to dedicate her work to help those who are in desperate need. She may look small, but she certainly has a big heart!

Following the keynote address, 10 speakers are invited to share 60 seconds of their impact stories during the ‘iTalk 60seconds’ session on “What does impact mean to you?”

If you would like to speak during the iTalk 60 seconds session and share your impact vision, stories and actions, you can choose to register under the category ‘iTalk 60s Speaker’.
